A fly on the wall presents the art works by five young artists based in Rotterdam. Juliette Geissler, Fleur Flipse, Emily Claridge, Lorena Rodeand Robin van Leijsen will bring to you an array of colors, humor, and playfulness. Do you dare to look inside the horse’s mouth? Or join a clown in their circus? We will ask you to deal with scabs, ghosts and exes, and witness soft maps and breakdown benches.
In celebration of what was and in preparation of what is to come, this exhibition dissects ideas of presence, absence, and what lies in between.
Like creepy little specks that fool corners of your eyes, a fly seems to sneakily attend every artwork, and watch the one who came to view.
